Definitely a phishing attempt, best to block and report it. Last night, on Sunday 29th May at about 00:49, someone called Jamie claiming to have tried delivering a parcel in South Devon. They said I wasn’t in, but I was home all day. It was a bit frustrating, as I’d just made a big purchase from the US on eBay and wasn’t sure which delivery company would handle it, so I clicked the link they sent out of curiosity. Luckily, my web browser flagged the site as dangerous and prevented me from going any further. If you’ve shared any personal info, get in touch with your bank straight away and talk to their fraud team.

Got a text from this number claiming to be the “post office” saying a parcel was attempted to be delivered to me but no one was home. It included a link to sort out re-delivery. Thing is, I’m not waiting for any parcels and my postie never comes before noon anyway. Definitely a dodgy scam.

Got a dodgy message saying I'd missed a parcel, said it was from the post office but it felt off, looks like a scam to me.

Totally a con. They basically say something like “Delivery couldn’t be made today, so just click the link to reschedule and provide your card details” - but really it’s a trick to steal your info.

If you accidentally clicked the link and entered your bank info, don’t freak out or feel bad - scams happen to everyone. Just ring your bank straight away, explain the situation, and get your card cancelled so they can monitor for any weird transactions.
