Got a dodgy text claiming to be from Santander saying there was an attempt to pay £430 to 'HiSmile'. It asked me to reply with 'Y' if it was me or 'N' if it wasnt, sent from +447493096959. I shot it straight over to SPAM (7726) and also told the ICO about it.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Santander about a payment of £430 being tried on my account, they asked me to text a number to confirm if I did it or not. Sounded off to me.

Got a dodgy SMS claiming to be from Santander: It said something like "A purchase of £430.00 at 'HiSmile' was tried. Reply 'Y' if it was you or 'N' if not" with the number +447493096959. Obviously, I ignored it, marked it as spam (7726) and reported straight away to the ICO.

Got a message from SANTANDER saying there’s been a £430.00 charge to ‘HiSmile’. They asked me to reply 'Y' if it was me or 'N' if it wasn’t, but weirdly the reply number was different from the sender. Definitely a scam trying to trick people. Avoid replying!
