Someone claiming to be from Mempool rang my daughter saying that ages ago someone had set up a tiny Bitcoin account that’s now worth £54k. It’s obviously a scam and can trick people who don’t know better. Mempool don’t do cold calls under any circumstances. These calls can come from any number because scammers can fake them. Stay cautious! Best thing is to just ignore and hang up straight away.
