Got a couple of missed calls from this number earlier. When I tried ringing back, it just said the number wasn’t valid. Definitely seems a bit fishy to me!

The caller claimed to be from citizens advice, but when I told them I hadn’t asked for a call and to take me off their list, the bloke said he could do that but then just ended the call.

Got a call at 7.45 in the mornin. Didn’t pick up but looked them up here. They phoned again so I was prepared to tell them where to stick it.

Got a call from a bloke who somehow knew my name (?!). Cheerful English chap telling me I apparently owe some money. He asked if that was correct, and when I said no, he just ended the call.

They said they were from some debt help company but cut off when I asked where they found my number. Added them to my blocked contacts now.

This bloke claimed he was from Citizens Advice, ringing about some unsecured debts. When I asked what sort, he said credit cards and the like. I told him I thought he was just taking a wild guess, and he actually said, 'yeah, you're right, we're just fishing for info.' I then asked him to take me off his list, and he called me stupid. That’s when I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from a lady saying she was with CAB. Brilliant lot who really assist with real issues. They wouldn't waste time ringing people out of the blue like this. TOTALLY A SCAM. It's awful how nothing is safe nowadays. These greedy scammers just target the most vulnerable. Blocked the number straight away.

I asked the person calling me to give their full name, the organisation they were with, and a contact number. He said he was Sam Collins from Citizens Advice Manchester. But when I requested his phone number, he just hung up on me. I've blocked the number now.

Picked up the phone and some bloke calling himself Kevin from citizen advice rang, but I couldnt really understand him cause his accent was obviously not English. I asked him to repeat himself and said "sorry, who is this?" and he just hung up straight away. So I blocked the number. Get a real job, you muppet!

Got a ring from some bloke abroad claiming he wanted to chat about unsecured loans. I told him I wasn’t interested, but he got all worked up and reckoned I was being rude when he claimed he was just warning me that creditors are suing me for debts. Complete nonsense, but a bit creepy - watch out!

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me up claiming to be from credit services, asking about my unsecured loans and credit card debts. As soon as I told him I didn’t have any credit cards or loans, he just hung up on me. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from some bloke on my mobile then moments later a woman on my home phone. The guy said he was from some financial firm about debt consolidation, but the woman said she was with citizen advice about managing debt. Neither were very nice when I told them I don’t owe anything. Told them both to jog on, really fed up with these annoying calls.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Citizens Advice. She mentioned something about a DRS (Debt Recovery Services) list saying I owed unsecured debt. I nicely told her that I don’t owe anything and asked to be taken off their contact list.

I didn’t pick up as I was trying to keep my blood pressure down and their call so early in the morning wasn’t helping at all. After seeing what others said, I’m glad I didn’t answer. I’ve blocked the number now and fingers crossed that’s the last I hear from them. I’ll update if anything changes!

Got a call saying I had some unpaid debts supposedly, even tho I’m paying them every month. I asked nicely if they could take me off their calling list and stop bugging me. The bloke on the phone got really rude after that and said he wouldn’t take me off, which is illegal, and told me to "leave it". Be careful with these lot!
