My dad got a call from someone pretending to be his daughter using a new phone number. After a couple of days, they tried to get him to send money. It’s mad how these scammers chat like they’re your family and then suddenly hit you up for cash. Seems like this scam where 'kids have a new number' is spreading like wildfire. Proper dodgy situation.
