I called the British Claims Department about my PPI claim and they told me it had gone through - apparently I’ve got £1300 waiting for me. I said, brilliant! I’ll pop round and pick it up then! .. And then he just ended the call.

When I refused to give any of my info she turned into a right moron. Don’t pick up this rubbish number. I’ve blocked it now. Just leave me alone, seriously!

Non-stop annoying calls. Told them to take me off their auto dial list (loads of silence and calls that just cut out, so definitely auto dialled) straight to my mobile. No idea where they got my number from. They wanted £100 to quit calling me. Haha, told him I knew it was a scam and there’s no way I'd give them money or buy anything. I even mentioned I’m on the DNC - do not call - list. (He said same initials, but based in India - so sketchy, lol) Ended with him saying “thank you thank you dear!” Haha. Not sure if these calls will stop, though.

They keep ringin me up like 3 times daily, first askin loads of questions then she goes, "where you from, India?" She says Manchester area, and I even asked her to confirm my postcode, she gave me my old address from like 15 years ago! Then she started proper abusing me on the phone when I kept askin questions. Just some dodgy cold caller trying to scam me. I hung up and blocked the number now.

They actually know your full name and where you live. It’s pretty creepy, no idea how they get hold of that info. They said they’re from well-known insurers like Aviva, AUG, Legal & General and so on. Don’t give them the time of day, just end the call straight away.

This guy keeps ringing me multiple times a day asking for a Miss Julianne Clark, who I’m not at all. At first, I told him he’s got the wrong person and he just hangs up. Even after asking to be removed from their list and requesting to speak to his manager, he just ends the call. He keeps calling from different numbers too, so blocking one just means another pops up. It’s really getting on my nerves and stressing me out. Is there any way to put a stop to this?

Got a call from some Indian guy, clearly calling from overseas. He mentioned my name and said it was about life insurance. He called my work mobile, which should be protected by the TPS, and it's been on that list for more than 3 years now. I've blocked his number on my phone, but he keeps ringing. Thankfully, I’m not answering, but I can still see on my phone he’s had another go at calling.

This call's from India and it's a total PPI con. They say you gotta pay a 10% fee to get a cash safe voucher, then try to get you to share a code over the phone before they supposedly send your PPI payout. Just don’t bother with these lot, it’s all a scam.
