Hey, just want to warn you that my phone number is being used by spoofers. They make calls pretending to be from my number but it’s not me at all! Loads of older folks have called me back, worried they got scammed by someone using my digits. I’m not sure what can be done to fix this, but if you’ve been contacted by someone showing my number, it’s best to report it to Action Fraud. From what I’ve heard, once a number gets reported enough, the scammers tend to shift on to a new one. Still, I really wish there was a way to stop them completely.
