Got a call the day before, they were trying to sell me some PPI for a loan from back in 2004 to 2008. I told them I’ve never had any loan at all, and they just cut me off straight away! Proper cheeky. I’ve blocked the number now.

This just happened to me as well... I got a call from a woman with an accent who asked for me specifically, saying there was a refund for some interest on loans I supposedly took out. I told her I wasn’t giving out any info on the phone and since she already had my details, she ought to send me everything in writing first.

Got a call from a woman with a heavy accent asking about a refund - sounded like a total scam. Best to just hang up and block the number if you get called too.
