Got a call just now from someone asking about a house. When I asked which one, he said it was an empty house. I told him no and promptly ended the call. Definitely seems like a scam.

Some bloke rang saying he was from a housing repair dept and claimed I'd reported issues like damp and cracks. I asked him which organisation he was from but he just kept saying the same thing. He was polite, even called me ma’am, which was a bit odd compared to the council repairs folks I've dealt with before. Felt something was off, so I ended the call.
