Just a heads up, dont pick up or respond - looks like a PPI scam. They were asking for my card info, which made me hang up straight away.

somebody called sayin they were from an insurance firm who had sold me dodgy policies or summat, i dont remember exactly. I hung up straight away. Then they called again, so i answered and told them to bugger off. After that, they rang two more times, going on about me “abusing” their staff. as if it’s not half abusive to keep phoning folks without consent in the first place.

On 28/09/16 I got a call claiming to be from some refund dept. But as the talk went on, you could tell it was definitely folks with a thick South Asian accent and the line was pretty bad, probably from overseas. The bloke insisted he had info on a loan I supposedly took out like ten years ago. Scam or not, I wouldn’t trust anything like that over the phone without some proper way of checking who they actually are.

Some guy with a foreign accent said his name was John and started going on about a PPI claim. I told him he had the wrong person, but the line was really crackly and then I just cut him off.

Got a call from a guy claiming I had a refund waiting on my account. Felt dodgy straight away so I ended up hanging up after about 50 seconds. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.
