Got a call from 07919288889 about an Amazon purchase, with a robotic voice claiming I’d been charged a huge amount, like £1,890, for an iPhone. They told me to press 1 if I didn’t make the order. I didn’t dare press anything and just blocked the number straight away. It’s crazy how these scammers can ring people and try to con them. I reckon pressing 1 must let them hack into your phone or get your bank info. What on earth is being done to stop these fraudsters from getting through?
