So, I got a call from someone who said they were with Direct Line car insurance, telling me I had some kind of comfort payment coming because of an accident I was in. They sounded like they knew everything about the crash, which was a bit worrying. But after I rang Direct Line myself, it turned out it wasn’t them at all who made the call. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
