Someone rang me saying they were from Box Chain and that I supposedly opened an account there back in 2018 with £30,000 in it - I had no idea what they were talking about. They wanted me to confirm my email, but I didn’t fall for it. I told them it sounded like a scam since the details were all wrong and they were calling from a mobile, not a company line. The last lady got quite annoyed and insisted she was calling from a landline, but I calmly pointed out it clearly showed as a mobile on my phone. After that, I told them to take me off their list and stopped the call.
