Received a text earlier today offering a loan of £750 to tide us over until payday, with the option to opt-out by replying '0'. I'm curious, how did these folks get hold of our number? Seems a bit dodgy, doesn’t it? Can't shake off the feeling that it might be some sort of scam.

Received a text from number 07501 465011 stating: "You can borrow as much as £750 and have it transferred into your account today. For more details, head over to www.wepay2day.co.uk. If you'd prefer not to receive these messages, just reply with '0'."

"Don't forget, you might be past the time to get your bank fees refunded. If you want to move ahead with your claim, give the Bank Charge Recovery Service a ring at 01792 476201. Be sure to mention reference J316 when you do!"

Received a call from a bloke named Leon, who mentioned something about helping us recover some debts. He claimed to be with a company called Claim Management UK, or something along those lines. Quite odd, to say the least.

Indeed, we received a similar call on the 23rd of March, 2009. The woman on the line introduced herself as Kia and claimed to represent Claim Management UK. She mentioned that their services assist individuals in having their debts, particularly from credit cards and loans, wiped out. Apparently, any debts accrued before April 2007 were deemed non-compliant with government regulations. Quite the intriguing proposition, isn’t it?

I had a lady call me up, proposing to lend a sum of £100 to £200 until payday. Truth be told, we’re comfortably set with our finances and receive a steady weekly wage; we really don’t require any assistance, thanks. What truly baffles me is how she even got our number in the first place, as I've only shared it with close family members. If anyone else receives a call like this, do make a note of their business name so that I/we can lodge a formal complaint.

Spot on, just echoing what Cara mentioned earlier. "You can get a loan of up to £750 straight deposited into your bank today. Just head to www.wepaytoday.co.uk, or if you'd prefer to unsubscribe, text '0'." I'm with O2 too, and honestly, it’s such a nuisance with all this spam.

I recently received a call from Kia, and let me tell you, the assertions being made by the British regarding their ability to sort out our loan within 28 weeks for a charge of £250 are rather dubious, to say the least. Frankly, it’s not just the proposition that sounds a bit off, but the whole concept leaves a lot to be desired.

I've been receiving text messages from the number 07501 465011 claiming I can borrow as much as £750 transferred to my bank account today. They’re directing me to visit W.WEPAY2DAY.CO. If I'm not interested, they say to reply with "0" to opt out. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Today, we received an identical call from someone claiming to be Kia regarding a loan, but it came from a different number: 07501494688. Quite peculiar!

I've received the exact same text message as the others mentioned, promising £750. Recently, I stumbled upon a website called skyplanner.net on my iPhone. Does anyone have a clue if these two occurrences might be connected in some way?

In relation to my earlier message regarding www dot wepay2day dot co dot up (not giving them the pleasure of a link!), it turns out this outfit is linked to Direct Line Loans. Their homepage boldly claims an astonishing APR of 1875%. Honestly, that figure should send anyone running for the hills. I do think it’s about time Direct Line insurance was alerted to this dubious operation, as they might be very keen on addressing someone who’s blatantly trying to cash in on their well-established name (or something that's suspiciously close to Direct Line Insurance).

A lady rang us on this number, trying to peddle some sort of debt recovery service. We had to cut her off fairly quickly since we've never been in debt or taken out a loan, not even once! It was utterly bonkers, to say the least!

Received the same dodgy message today! It’s far more unsettling to get texts about cash offers than it is to receive calls. My suggestion? Just brush off the message; there’s no need to respond. If these characters keep bombarding you with texts, make sure to flag it to your network provider.

Hussain, it appears we’ve received the exact same message from the number 07918 907185. Do you have any idea who it might be? I’ve had a couple of these now, and it’s really beginning to get on my nerves!

I received a call from Kia stating that Claim Management UK could potentially wipe out a loan we've got within 28 weeks for a charge of £250. To be honest, something about this didn’t sit right with me at all.
