Whenever they ask for someone, don’t give a straight yes or no. Try saying something like “hold on, I’ll see if they’re around” then walk off and do something else like watch some telly. It’ll just waste their time and might put them off calling again.

Someone said they were from citizens advice and asked if I had a baby, I said no. Then they kept asking me yes or no questions, seemed fishy. I reckon they want you to say yes so they can get a recording to sign you up for stuff. I could barely catch what he was saying, so I just told him politely and ended the call.

Like other folks mentioned, they say they're from citizens advice trying to update your life insurance for the new tax year. Total rubbish. Definitely a scam trying to get your personal info. Just ignore and block them.
