Got a call from someone who seemed like a con artist, trying to fish out my personal details.

Got a WhatsApp message saying "Dad, this is my new number." So I asked who it was, and the person said, "Guess." I said, "Is it Geoff?" They replied yes. I told them I don't know any Geoff, and now they haven’t messaged back. Watch out for stuff like this.

They said it was a relative calling from a different number, but I have my doubts. Sounds like one of those scams where they eventually ask you for cash. Wouldn't trust it.
