watch out for this number, its a scam for sure. it takes you to a site that tries to get your card info. if you end up giving them your details like i did, call your bank straight away and block your card. just a heads up to be careful with this one.

Got a ring from +44 7918 24549 and it directed me to what looked like the official NHS site. They wanted me to pay 99p for a Covid test, which seemed suspicious straight away. The message was the usual one about being in contact with someone who had omicron and told me to order a PCR test kit through a sketchy link: https://tracing-test-kit com. I checked with my bank and they confirmed it’s a scam. Thankfully, they caught it before anything went through and cancelled my card. Just thought I’d warn everyone to watch out for this.

This has to be a con, the person said they're with the NHS but insisted they wouldn't call from a mobile. My number for getting in touch doesn't match up either.

Got a message that seemed like one of those test scam texts, quite dodgy if you ask me.

This seems like a total scam to me. I looked up the site they said you could order your PCR test from using Google, and it basically says the test is free but you have to pay for delivery. So, you still gotta give your bank info. When I clicked on the links at the bottom for stuff like cookies or terms and conditions, nothing showed up - just blank pages or not found. Honestly, I don’t buy it. Plus, the NHS wouldn’t send texts from private numbers right off the bat. Definitely fishy.

Totally a scam, hands down! They said I’d been near someone with omicron, but when I checked their site, it asked for my card info to claim the test. If it really was the NHS, there’s no way they’d want payment or bank details, and they definitely wouldn’t charge for postage either.
