I got a text saying I’d been near someone with Covid, but those links look dodgy so I just blocked the number straight away.

They claimed I’d been in contact with someone who had Covid - total nonsense. Seriously, don’t even bother clicking on their link. Honestly, there are a handful of illnesses I wish those muppets would catch.

I got a message saying I’d been in close contact with someone and it had a link for ordering a PCR test.

Got a text from 07918234870 claiming I'd been near someone with covid and urging me to book a PCR test via a link. The site looked quite official, had NHS logos and all, but said the test was free and only charged 99p postage. Seems like a trick to nab card info. They also warned that if I didn’t take the test, I could face movement limits, which doesn’t match current rules at all. Definitely a scam.
