Had a call from someone speaking with a strong Indian accent, background noise like a busy call centre too. They said they were calling from VIRGIN MEDIA and claimed someone was using my internet without permission or a password. Since I know a bit about internet stuff (worked for Virgin Media once), I asked for more details. She mentioned some IP address was connecting to my network. When I questioned how she could be sure it wasn’t mine, she quickly tried to sell me some software to sort it out. I guessed right away it was a scam, but I let her keep chatting just to be sure.
