Got a call from 07941586605 saying I had some massive HMRC tax debt and if I didn’t press 1, I’d be arrested. This bloke rambled on about owing a huge amount, but when I asked why I hadn’t received anything in writing he just said letters had been sent twice. He pushed to get me to cough up £5,000 over the phone while there was all sorts of noisy background like drills going on. I told him to send me that letter again since I wasn’t buying it, and then he suddenly hung up. This number called a few days ago too but I ignored it and now it’s blocked. Definitely seems dodgy.

Just wanted to share a quick update since my previous post. Now I'm getting loads of calls from this new number 07943137486, but they just ring once and hang up straight away! It’s a bit unsettling, especially since I had already blocked the first number they used before switching to this one. Thought people should be aware of how these calls usually work. My advice? Don’t even bother calling them back.

In the middle of the night, around 3 or 4 am, I got this call from an unknown number. I usually don’t pick up strange calls but a few days ago I did and said hello. A man said hello back and it just felt off, so I ended the call pretty quickly. They rang me right after that, but this time I just ignored it.
