We’re in a similar boat! Received a call at 3:45 AM on a Saturday, believe it or not. Seems like a prank, perhaps even the antics of an ex with some unresolved problems. It’s our hunch that these individuals are paying for those messages and the company facilitating this allows them to forward replies, enabling them to see anything sent back. Just a theory, but the phone bill should clarify matters. We’ll keep you all posted as soon as we have more info!

Just received our bill and, surprise surprise, there weren’t any charges for texts or calls. Just as we suspected! Seems like an ex with some unresolved problems decided to have a laugh with a prank company. It’s not a scam or spam; we’ve cut ties with that number and any others associated. Seriously, how do you lot think these prank calls and messages operate? We are convinced this is the explanation we were looking for.

We have experienced something similar! It was around 3:45 in the afternoon on Saturday when we received the call. We suspect it might be a prank from a former partner with some unresolved matters. It seems these individuals are paying to send out these messages, and we think the service provider they are using offers a feature that forwards any replies back to them.
