Had a bloke ring me up from India, said he was from Marks & Spencer trying to update my info. Asked for my full name and address, but I just told him no and ended the call then blocked the number straight away!!!

So this number rang me twice today. Missed it the first time, but when I picked up the second call and just said “hello,” some guy with an Asian accent said my name. I asked who it was but didn’t give any details, then he just ended the call. I’ve already blocked the number now.

I got a call from a woman claiming to be with Marks and Spencer, asking me to verify my name. I didn’t give her any info and told her I couldn’t hear properly. Honestly, who would a proper company ring on a mobile like that? They must think we’re all daft or something. Such dodgy behaviour.

Got a call from someone claiming to be M&S, wanting me to verify my name and address. When I tried to find out what it was about, they just cut the call. Quite odd if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be M&S, they seemed to know my name but then asked for my postcode which I didn't give them. As soon as I didn't provide it, they just dropped the call. I reported it to M&S straight away and have now blocked that number.

Got a call from 07917124383, this lady speaking with a thick Indian accent, sounded like she was in one of those call centres from the noise behind her. She mentioned my name and even my postcode, then went on about 'Homesure Direct' getting in touch about my washing machine before hanging up really fast. I’ve blocked the number now, but I have a feeling it might be too late no matter what the scheme is.

Somebody called saying they were with Hotpoint but they got my postcode all wrong. I told them I don’t own any Hotpoint appliances and they just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number since.

Received a call from this number. When I answered, a guy with an Asian accent wanted to talk to me but couldn’t say my name right. He said he was calling on behalf of Hotpoint. I asked him again who exactly he was, and then he just told me to f##k off before cutting me off. Lovely experience. Blocked straight away.

Got a call around 10 in the morning, and the person asked for my name. Being half asleep, I told them without thinking and then they just dropped the call on me! When I rang back, Orange told me “The number you have dialled is invalid, please check and try again.” The bloke on the line had a thick Indian accent, by the way.
