I got a call from someone claiming to be with Amazon, saying my account had been hacked and that someone had bought an iPhone for about £50. He started asking if I was on a phone or a computer. If this was legit, it’d be quite worrying, but I checked my Amazon account and there’s no sign of any unauthorised charges. I’m guessing the guy was trying to trick me into giving bank details so he could “sort out” the payment himself. I just ended the call. He rang back a couple more times but after I hung up again, he finally stopped.
