Warning!! Got a call with a recorded voice telling me my NI number was on hold. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone but I just ended the call. Contacted Action Fraud immediately after and they said it's probably a trick. HMRC doesn’t ring you like that. Watch out, and if you get this kind of call, report it to Action Fraud as well.
