Got a call earlier today from this number claiming they were from some security company, warning me that someone was trying to break into my internet.

I got a message on my phone from 07916640390 saying that I’d just added a new payee with the account ending 1864 through my online banking. The thing is, I never did that.

Got a text saying it was from HSBC but the link looked really dodgy to me. Didn't trust it one bit.

I just blocked a number after HSBC showed a fresh payee with an account ending in 1864. Definitely suspicious.

Got a message from HSBC claiming I’d set up a new payee with an account ending in 1864, which I definitely didn’t do. They included a link in the text but I avoided clicking it.

Got a message from this number claiming to be HSBC, saying I’d just opened an account with them - which I definitely didn’t. There was a link included and it seemed really dodgy, like one of those phishing scams. I tried to report it by forwarding the message to HSBC, but weirdly my email to phishing@hsbc[###][###] got bounced back. Not much help at all!
