Got a call from someone claiming they were from the inland revenue, said I owed back taxes and if I didn’t pay straight away they’d send me to jail! Total scam, obviously. Watch out - these people are actually running a big operation from India and have ripped off loads of money from countries across Europe. Don’t let them fool you!

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he works for some marketing firm. He was firing off loads of strange questions, so I just messed about and gave him wrong info. I've actually had to block this bloke quite a few times before since he keeps switching numbers. Proper persistent he is. Didn’t catch anything that screamed scam, but I’d say be careful anyway.

I couldn't make out the company he claimed to be with, but he kept insisting on asking me some questions. When I said I was busy at work and couldn’t chat, he kept pushing that it wouldn't take long. Then he started to get a bit shouty when I said I wasn’t interested and just didn’t have the time. I tried calling the number back from a different phone, hoping to find out who they were, but the message said something like "the number you dialled is unrecognized."
