Just got this message supposedly from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP): It says my claim for the 2025-2026 Winter Fuel Payment hasn’t been sent in yet or was knocked back due to mistakes. They’re telling me to complete the application now to get the £300 payment and that no late entries will be accepted. There’s a link to some weird site to apply on, but it looks dodgy to me. Definitely feels like a scam or phishing attempt, so best to ignore it!
