We received a call from this number, and a lady with a distinctly foreign accent informed us that we were eligible for an upgrade with Three. We ended up chatting longer than we should have, mainly because we’ve just terminated our contract with them, and we thought it might be linked to that. In the end, we just decided to hang up.

We received a call from a woman with a rather foreign accent claiming to be from Three regarding an upgrade for our mobile phone. Just as we were about to engage in a chat with her, it dawned on us that Three never contacts customers directly like this. Typically, such calls seem to originate from places like India, and honestly, the call quality was far too pristine compared to the usual experience we have when contacting Three directly.

The person on the line appeared quite sincere, but then they asked for credit card details to perform a credit check. I’ve just received a call from this number inquiring about our recent upgrade with Three, which we actually haven’t received. I was somewhat wary about revealing too much information. I mentioned that we’re on a pay-as-you-go plan, and they promptly hung up on me. Quite odd, really!
