Funny thing is I’d just renewed the tax for my missus’s car. I saw the payment went through my bank, and had a quick look on the DVLA site too, which showed the tax was sorted.

Got a text claiming to be from the DVLA saying my vehicle tax couldn’t be processed and it had a link. Yesterday I got a similar message from a different number. This isn’t something that applies to me at all. I blocked them straight away. Don’t tap on any links! Even after blocking, they keep ringing from new numbers. DVLA don’t send texts, they only send letters.

Got a message from 07915330858 yesterday evening claiming to be the DVLA about a failed road tax payment. Total nonsense as I don’t own a car. My phone actually spotted it as a scam and flagged it. Safe to say, I blocked the number and reported it straight away.
