Someone called claiming to be from Epsom Support, which I thought was the Epson help I found online for my printer. They managed to get into my computer and helped me install drivers and operating instructions. Then the guy said there was a problem with the software, and he’d get another technician to ring me to sort it out. Around ten minutes later, another person did call, promising to fix the issue. They weren’t able to solve it though, and later I ended up with a £400 charge. When I checked the number through this site, it turned out to be a scam.
