I just noticed a new payee in my Halifax app and I’ve never even used Halifax before. Definitely looks like a scam to me.

Got a text saying there was a "New Payee" added on my Halifax app. Problem is, I don’t even have a Halifax app, so I’m pretty sure it’s a straight-up scam. I noticed the last couple of people who checked this number didn’t leave any feedback. If anyone’s tried their checking service, please drop a comment here. Otherwise, these crooks might just pull it off without getting caught.
