I just got this text and it says something about a payment from Halifax, but I dont even have an account with them. So watch out, looks dodgy. The message said: A payment tried to go through on an unknown device to Mrs K Adams for £240. If you think this is wrong, you should cancel it here: securedevice-verify[###]. Sounds like a scam to me!

Got a text from this number pretending to be Halifax, saying I should verify a payment I'd supposedly made. Thing is, I’m not even a customer with Halifax.
