When I told him that wasn’t true, he just kept calling me a liar and wouldn’t say which cards I supposedly owed on. He kept going on about taking me to court. I hung up and looked it up - turns out loads of folks are getting hassled by this same guy.

Got a call from a bloke with a pretty obvious foreign accent, asking for someone called "Louise" - which definitely isn’t me. I told him a few times to remove my number from their list, but he kept insisting he’d spoken to "Louise" using my phone yesterday - totally made up. I told him again that he had to stop calling or I’d report them. After that, I fired off a grumpy text saying I’d take legal action if they rang again, and I even signed it with the wrong initial just to see if they'd notice or respond. Got a call today, 21/12/17, from someone claiming to be HMRC. They said they could clear all my debts with something called an IVA. I just laughed and said he clearly wasn’t that bright if he thought I’d fall for it, told him straight up he was a spammer. After that, he started using foul language and even read out my home address, threatening that he knew where I lived and could “do things”. Proper creepy!

I get calls from this number at least a couple times daily. Whenever I pick up, I just leave my phone by the speaker and let them hear whatever music or podcast I’m playing. Despite that, they keep calling again and again. Feels like it’s not some kind of call centre, coz if it was, I’d be off their list by now - it’s such a pointless exercise. This trick actually seems to work though!

I got a call from a guy with a really thick accent who said he was ringing from the "Citizens Advice Bureau". He started telling me about some kind of probe by the Financial Ombudsman Authority or whatever it was called. Sounds dodgy to me. I told him that the matter was already being dealt with by someone else, and then he just cut me off - no goodbyes or anything! Definitely a scam, watch out for these dodgy calls!

Got a call on my landline from 07914584807, and it was some bloke with an Indian accent. He wanted to chat with me by my name. I just told him no and ended the call. Definitely seemed like a scam call to me.

Got a bloke ringing me up looking for someone I've never heard of. When I told him to remove my number from their list, he kept refusing and kept asking my name. I told him straight that he had no right to ask for my details and to stop harassing me, then he just hung up. Proper rude behaviour! Definitely blocking that number now!

Got two calls from this number, first one said they were from Citizen Advice about owing money, then a second call came through saying they were enforcement officers. Told them they can’t do anything without a court order and just ended the call.

He claimed he could clear my debts, and when I asked where he got my number from, he started shouting insults at me, calling me all sorts of names. Then he began making disgusting remarks about my missus, right there with my little one year old shouting in the background. When he asked who it was, I told him it was my daughter, and he made even nastier comments. Proper sick bloke.

I got a call from someone looking for 'Gary', which isn't me. I told them they had the wrong number and they ended the call straight away. I've gone ahead and blocked that number now.

Today at 10:18 am, I got a call and when I picked up and said "hello," there was some kind of weird sound and then the call just cut off. After seeing what others have said about it, I've decided to block the number.

Some bloke pretending to be from the CAB called me and got really cheeky, telling me to shut up after I asked him how he got my number. Proper rude!

So yesterday I got a call from some woman claiming to be from a credit investigation, supposedly linked to Citizens Advice. She had a very English name but sounded Indian. I told her to take my number off their list and then she just hung up. They've been ringing non stop today too, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number now. Very annoying!

They called saying they were from some credit company and wanted to help get government aid to clear debts. Total scam, so I just blocked their number.

I just got another call from this same number. The guy claimed he was doing a credit check and mentioned I owed some unsecured debt. When I asked which company he was with, he just went quiet and ended the call. The time before that, he said he was from Nationwide Building Society and even knew my name and postcode, which seemed a bit off to me.

This guy phoned me, said he was from the police and claimed I owed more than £7000. I told him that wasn't true and ended the call straight away. After that, he kept ringing me back seven times, but I ignored every single one. I've now put his number on the block list.

Got a call from this number earlier. The person on the line totally got my surname wrong and then went on about how I supposedly changed it recently and owe loads of money. When I told them I’m not in debt at all, they just cut me off! This is the second time they’ve rung me today. Honestly, how is stuff like this even legal??

So this guy said he was with some credit check team for unsecured debts and told me I could get my debts cleared. He also brought up some sort of charity. I asked him where he got my details from because they were all wrong, and why he was calling from a mobile number. He claimed it only seemed like a mobile, but wasn’t actually one. I told him I couldn’t chat and just ended the call.

Somebody rang me out of the blue, saying they were from Citizens Advice and that I had outstanding debts. They kept using my Facebook name instead of my actual name, which threw me off completely. When I told them I didn’t owe anything, they just hung up. I later looked up the official Citizens Advice numbers - it’s 03444 111 444 for England and 03444 77 20 20 for Wales. Then I checked the number that called me and honestly, don’t pick up if you get a call from it, no matter what!
