Got a call from this number and they were asking for a Mr Burge (I get loads of calls for him, mostly from overseas). Each time I try to tell them he doesn’t live here and ask nicely if they could take my number off their list, they just cut me off before I finish talking. Absolutely ridiculous - they’re disturbing people for no good reason and just wasting everyone’s time! I’m on the TPS register, but it seems to make no difference at all.

Somebody called saying they’re planning to open a store in St Albans “next year” and asked if I was interested in a voucher for new doors, soffits or something along those lines. I said no thanks.

Somebody called saying they were with a fascia installation firm. I checked the number on this site, cheers for that, and then I just blocked it. Honestly, BT’s 1572 service is brilliant!

I got a call from a woman looking for Mr .... (which isn't me), once I told her she had the wrong person and asked her who was on the phone, she just cut me off straight away.

Got a call from a number claiming they'd soon be setting up a store on Orpington High Street, mentioning some voucher deals. But when I tried to ask the company's name, the line just went dead. Strange behaviour!

When I questioned why she suddenly ended the call, I asked if she was chatting with the property owner.

They asked if I owned the place, but I told them this isn't a home address at all. I just ended the call right there. Wouldn't bother picking up for that number.
