Got a call today claiming to be from HM Revenue & Customs - said I had a refund of £6300. Then got an email too! Obviously, it’s a scam, who falls for that old trick nowadays?

Its funny how this shows up as a valid Vodafone number but is still being used for that typical HMRC scam call. If Vodafone really owns that number, you'd think they'd have done something about the person using it by now, since they must have their info somewhere, even if no one else does.

Got a missed call from this number and didn't recognise it at all, so I decided to check it out like plenty of others have on here. Seems to be a spammer ringing, which annoys me especially when they call after 9 at night. I’ve blocked it now. The frustrating part is they keep switching their numbers and pretending to be from different places. How is this allowed? Private numbers shouldn’t be allowed to ring other private numbers - feels like it’s against the law.
