Got a call from this number claiming I’m being investigated for tax evasion and that if I don’t hit 1, a warrant will be put out for my arrest. Honestly, do these scammers reckon people are that gullible? HMRC always sends letters through the post, not calls on mobiles, and they’d surely know my name. These muppets are just out to scare folks, and sadly, some vulnerable people might actually fall for it. Total rubbish.
