Called saying they were from my bank but did not identify bank by name saying there might be false charges and wanted me to "verify" my account. BANK SCAM FOR SURE! BEWARE!! If in doubt, hang up and just call your bank directly. There were no charges on any of my accounts for Amazon or Zoom (which I never heard of) according to my ACTUAL bank.

I got a call from someone saying they were from my bank but never mentioned which one. They said there had been strange transactions on my account and asked me to confirm my banking info. I ended the call straight away and rang my bank myself. Naturally, there was nothing unusual at all. My actual bank told me the number was linked to a scam. BE CAREFUL! Don’t engage with these callers, it might end up costing you. Always double-check by contacting your bank directly. Real banks won’t call you from a mobile number, so hang up if they do!

Got a call from someone saying they were from a bank, telling me there was a debit card transaction about to go through. Felt a bit dodgy, might’ve been a scam.
