Somebody phoned me saying I supposedly gave them the go-ahead to call. I told them I didn’t and asked them to take my number off their list. They said I wasn’t allowed to ask that, so I just ended the call. Now that same person has rung me four times, insisting I say sorry for cutting the call.

This number keeps calling me, but every time I pick up, they just hang up straight away. Instead of the usual hello or hi, I’ve started saying “Ho Ho Ho” because Christmas is coming, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. The caller ID shows some company called Geat Ltd or something like that. Que sera, que sera, I guess. I’ll just wish them well and say take care next time.
