Just got a call from this number a minute ago. The guy sounded like he was calling from some Indian call centre but claimed he was with Amazon. He asked if I had bought an iPhone 16 earlier today, which I obviously hadn’t. Then he said it might be fraud and asked for my email so he could send a verification code. (If it was really Amazon, they’d know my email already, right?). When I asked him to prove he was really from Amazon, he went quiet and didn’t answer me. At that point, I figured it was a scam and ended the call.
