A woman with a very British accent picked up and kindly requested that I don’t answer if this number calls again, as she said she’s been flooded with calls from it. Seemed like she wasn’t quite sure how to block the number either.

My phone showed it as possible spam but I picked up anyway. The person on the line had an accent that sounded Indian. They claimed to be calling from Virgin O2 and asked me to verify my email to qualify for a 30% reduction on my contract. I didn’t go along with it and they just hung up.
