SCAM ALERT Just got a weird text from this number claiming to be HSBC saying: HSBC: A new payee request has been made from a device we don’t recognise. You can confirm or cancel here: (link I’m not gonna share since it looks quite convincing). I ignored and deleted it straight away. Then I rang Burnside Plant Hire Ltd and they said they’re not involved at all. Turns out loads of others have had the same message and they’ve told the police about it, dated 04/06/21.
