This morning our landline got three calls claiming to be from Barclaycard. The callers said that they were going to take £100 and £800 for international transactions from our account. They told us to press 1 if it was alright or 2 to talk to someone. We have no clue about these charges. So, I phoned Barclaycard myself and they confirmed it’s probably a scam and advised me to block the number. When I checked the number online, it showed it belonged to Vodafone.
