Today in the early afternoon, my 94-year-old dad got a call from a woman who sounded really serious, saying there were two Amazon payments waiting for approval. She never really explained who she was or what company she was with. This wasn’t the first time he'd had this kind of call, so he ended up hanging up. Afterwards, he reached out to his bank who said there was no sign of any such payment requests. Later, I looked this number up here about 6 hours after the call and weirdly there was nothing reported for it.
