I picked up and an automated voice came on claiming they were from some crime investigation unit and said I had to talk to someone right away or else I'd get arrested and my National Insurance would be frozen. They said I was wanted for a crime, but I honestly can't recall being anywhere dodgy in the past year, and before that, not done anything suspicious unless I've been sleepwalking or something 🤣🤣🤣

Got a message from 07908896880 around half ten saying they’re from HMRC and that I’m owed a refund. Just a heads up, this is a scam. Luckily, I spotted it straight away and didn’t get caught out by their tricks. Stay safe everyone!

Just got a text sayin "you’ve got a tax refund from HMRC," with a link to click. Dont bother opening it. Pretty clear scam tryna steal your info. Funny thing is, I didnt get loads of these scam messages till I changed over to Virgin Mobile!!

Someone rang me saying they were from Gmail. When I said I didn’t want to give out any info and asked them to send an email instead, they just hung up. Just looked this site up now, cheers to everyone sharing.
