I received a peculiar text addressed to Deep that read, "Drowning in debt? Allow me to take the reins and slash your payments by a whopping 70%. It’s a government initiative. Text back for full details." That was the only message, and we definitely chose not to reply. Still, we can’t shake off the feeling that this could be one of those scams from the nefarious lot over at ABBEY, as mentioned in conversations about MBNA. They seem to pull every trick imaginable to get you to call them back. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
