Got a message from this number saying it was PayPal, warning me my account had been restricted because of some dodgy activity. It had a link and told me to click to sort it out. What threw me off was that it came from a UK EE phone number, and legit PayPal messages I’ve had always come from a short 4-digit code. They did copy the exact wording PayPal uses, which made it quite convincing. I double-checked my PayPal app for any alerts and there was nothing wrong at all - no limits or anything unusual. Just a heads up to everyone, this looks like a classic scam.
