Got a dodgy call saying there’s weird activity on my debit card linked to some betting shop. They wanted me to press a button to say if it was me or not. Don’t take the bait like i almost did, just hang up and block the number straight away!

Had loads of dodgy calls supposedly from 'Amazon' today, but this was the very first time the caller actually showed a number instead of 'Private', 'Unknown' or 'No Caller ID'. Most likely just a fake number anyway. Heard the usual spiel about 'Your Amazon Prime subscription has been renewed' and 'We've got a £799.99 order being processed on your account'... Everyone knows how these scams go. Proper con artists, these lot.
