Got a call claiming I'd placed an order for £799 on my Amazon account. The person on the other end sounded like they were somewhere noisy, like a call centre or whatnot. They never told me their name. I took a look at my Amazon account and bank statements - nothing suspicious there, no charges at all. Tried calling them back but they never picked up. Definitely a scam.
