Got a text from takepayments.com sayin my Direct Debit isn't going through or has been stopped. They said if I want to keep it going with the same bank details I just need to text back “YES”. Otherwise, if I want to change bank info, they've asked me to call them at 01606 566 500. Bit worried it might be a scam tbh, so gonna check it out properly first.

Got a text claiming my direct debit didn’t go through, telling me to reply YES to sort it or ring 0161 452 4004. They say they’re from some secure payment firm, like others mentioned here. I checked with Takepayments and they confirmed it’s not from them at all - they’re now passing it on to their fraud team to look into.

Got a call saying my bank info needs updating because my direct debit didn’t go through. They said they were from Take Payments and threatened me if I didn’t comply. Felt quite dodgy, to be honest.

Got a text claiming it was from some payment company saying my direct debit didn’t go through. They told me to click a link to update my bank info. Pretty sure it’s a scam number. Definitely dodgy!

Got a message saying I’d been in contact with Covid and had to CLICK A LINK. Clearly a con. Blocked and removed straight away.
