I got a call from this number and the guy asked for me by name. When I didn’t confirm I was him, he just ended the call straight away. I tried ringing back but an automated voice said they don’t take incoming calls. No idea who it was but the bloke had a foreign accent and somehow knew my name.

Got a call from these guys claiming to be the National Debt Helpline, supposedly linked with the Government. When I asked how they got my info, there was this awkward silence for like 20 seconds. I joked that I could hear them just breathing down the line lol. Eventually, they said they were working through something called IVA (Individual Volunteer Agreements). I told them I’ve never agreed to anything like that. The person on the phone gave the name “Atis Ali”. Whether that’s real or not, I’m definitely going to check this out under GDPR rules :) Haha

Just had another call, second time in a fortnight. When I asked where he was ringing from, after a bit of delay, he said The National Debt Line. I asked how he got my details, but he wouldn’t say. I told him I’d call the police if he didn’t stop, and he said he’d stay on the call! He knew my name, number and claimed I owed 3 grand in debt??? Proper annoying 😡 I’ll report it to the police but doubt it’ll change much.

Someone called pretending to be from National Debt helpline, but when I asked how they got my number, they mumbled something about a bunch of financial companies.
